SETU INFRASTRUCTURE was established in 1988.
We have specialization in Structural and Earth retaining design of residential, commercial, industrial and public related structure as well as MEPF design.
Design Principle
We are professionals not businessmen.
We believe that any building design by an Architect has its own importance, functionality and uniqueness.
We respect the effort by an Architect and client so we suggest the structural system in such a way that it will not disturb the soul of the building
Scope of work in structural design
CONCEPT DESIGN STAGE
- Design briefing by client/Architect followed by inspection of the site.
- Preparing the initial list of data required for design based on inspection of the site and its topography.
- Submission of Design Basis Report (DBR). as per the Data Collected.
- Initial 2-3 Suggestions of Structural System on the Basis of Preliminary Design with Tentative Sizes of Structure Members.
- One to One Meeting with Architect for Finalization of Structural System.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT STAGE
- On the Agreement of Structural Layout from Architect and Client, We Start Micro Level Correction in the Structural System
- Submission of Necessary Drawing Documentation needed as an Structural Consultant for Plan Approval from Local Government Authority.
- Creating Structural Models for Detailed Analysis.
- Preparation of Framing Plans and Column Schedule Providing all the Necessary Details Including Sizes
- Preparing Typical Details for the Framing Plans
- Develop column/wall schedule for basement and foundation including raft/ pile cap design.
- After preparing all the drawing necessary we shall provide all the calculations plus CAD and analysis model to PEER REVIEWER (if appointed) for review.
- Coordinations with the PEER REVIEWER to take Suggestions. To Provide the Improved Designs.
FINAL DESIGN STAGE
- On final approval from Architect and Peer reviewer (if appointed) we shall update structural analysis and move towards detailed designing.
- Complete the Detailed Design and Working Drawings for Construction Purpose and send Hard Copies to both Client and Architects as per Initial Agreement.
CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION STAGE
- Coordination with Contractor/Client for their queries.
- Attend Relevant site meeting and also make periodic visits to the site as per agreement.
- Review and Approve all the materials used for construction
- Provide Structural Stability Certificate (If required) in Prescribed Format.
